LIE DECTORS

There is no such thing as a lie detector, except if we could read minds, but of course if we could read each others minds, we wouldn't be accusing anyone of anything, because others could read our minds. But we do have people in law enforcement who use the lie detector to entrap the unwise who take them. Its a shame that in this day and age, people don't know how the lie detector can be manipulated by both those who take it and those who give it, because it all depends on the question. If you believe something is right or OK, then your answer to that question will pass, because it is all about emotions, not fact. Its like getting someone drunk and questioning them. If we are to enter the future with a modern law enforcement then we need to ban the so called lie detector.

Like all my Education from the good old days, came from not only college, or a tech school, but from the front lines, learning on the job, some called apprentice training, correspondence schools, very popular in those days, and books, lots of books. I remember when so many ask where I learned the law, well I never went to a traditional law school, Oh! I studied law in College, but not in a traditional law school. Like so many back then, I took a correspondence course in law, one for criminal justice and another in civil, then I took courses for insurance investigation, and many on world Religions, history and even the paranormal. Back then you didn't need a law school to practice law, you just had to be learned in the law and take the bar exam. I even bought a dry-cleaning business and learned to run it from my employees. Of course things are much different now. Better? I don't think so, to much is required from schools, that have no real function, other then a name to give them credence, a name that causes a fight or flight, blood rush, like Harvard. They were simply created to keep others, like the poor, learned in the law, from taking a bar exam, to practice law. But that is the way of things today, even a plumber has to be school trained, I learned it in the military, I also learned concrete work, building with rocks, cooking and baking in the military and even studied law while in the military. People make things difficult, not schools.

 Anyway, laws are based on a line drawn in the sand, you cross the line, you break the law. One the one side you are innocent as long as you don't hurt someone. hurt someone then you have crossed the line and to the degree, it depends on how bad you hurt them!

One problem we have, is having laws that are not clear about, when an issue become a crime, because no one offered a middle ground, something we once did have in the justice system. A part of this came from the old common law or also called the unwritten law, where a person dove into a lake "posted no swimming" and save someones life, so no one would be blamed for saving a life. Now its all based on court decisions, we do need to get back to judging the laws in court, applied to a case, to make sure it is Constitutional, or a legal law, as you cannot have a law based on religion, or a law that allows some to be above the law, and laws decide that, not people, so the people do need the right to Challenger a law, to make sure it does not discriminate against anyone. No even someone we hate with shame. Though none of us are worthy enough to hate anyone in shame.

The Middle ground, we often leave out today in our lawmaking factory, a place where a law sneaks in a takes away one of our rights. You see we cannot have all rights and no laws or all laws and no rights. You have to have a right to do something. The balance of the two are more important then having all rights and no laws. But of the two the most important is a right, over a law, as every law made takes away a right. No one wants to be protected, from everything, and everyone. We want the right to chose who we want to be protected from, not others deciding it for us.

  We have made so many laws that replaced our rights, that we have no protections from those who are to be our protectors and most of those laws are unconstitutional. We opened the door to allow misconduct within our legal system and it grew like a cancer, taking away any hope for those accused to make amends and get on with there lives, being judged by society for a wrong or crime they paid for. and get rid of those laws that are illegal, or discriminate against some or puts some above the law. It must get back to Justice for all.
