Yesterday was and is no more

Each day of our past is a change in every direction at a snails pace. Things like the 9/11 attacks cause changes even to morality, like "turning the other cheek" called the right thing to do by Christians, to "getting revenge" what was a sin in the Christian religion, but the right thing to do in the non Christian religion, and the Devils law according to the Christians. Events in the passing of time change what we are willing to tolerate today, but not a toleration that can be judged fairly today, because yesterday was a very different time period, the farther back you go. For example; we cannot judge Adam and Eve for whatever they did yesterday, if they were alive today, because they were living a life we cannot understand today. There was a time that farmers years ago would be judged as being mean to animals, because they had to ration the food they gave there animals, because they did not have the fancy farm equipment they have today. And even child abuse would be seen differently today then yesterday, because spanking was viewed as "sparing the rod, spoils the child" according to the bible and back not many years ago you would be considered a neglectful parent if you did not spank your children. And War's and the Era's they took place also change a societies views and people did things they would never do today. So judging the past or those from the past is frowned upon in a free Nation, except in politics. Hero's of the past would even be seen as villains today, because we can not understand a time we never had to live in.
